Just wanted to let people know the game Realms Beyond: Ashes of the Fallen is now just ashes. Forgive my forced af metaphor.

Apparently their business manager/level designer has gone awol and has been for over a year. Also not responding to pretty much anything regarding the game on discord or e-mail.

I kinda forgot this game existed tbh, but it looked interesting. Especially the combat.
Too bad shit hit the fan.

From what I gathered following this situation last year, there in fact was an interested investor who could have kept the game "alive" but the inability to get in touch with the game's co-owner made any business deal impossible... and the possibility evaporated.

Christ, and I was just thinking about this game recently too. What a nuisance.

A pity, it looked better than that Baldur clone that got released today. Still, RPGs like this have been rather abundant in recent years, and they're lengthy games, I'd never be able to play them all, so in the final analysis it won't exactly leave a some unfillable hole in my heart.
