Hey folks! I've been more of a lurker than anything else lately on the forums, but I do still adore this community, even if I'm not as interactive as I used to be. On the 28th, assuming I'm still kicking, I'll have somehow magically made it to 39, and my wife's birthday is the day before mine, and our pup Sarge's first birthday is on the 30th, so I figured it was high time for another (long overdue) giveaway.

I'm too tired in my head to think of some brilliant and fun giveaway idea, but I'd love it if you'd care to share your current favorite song/album, or perhaps your favorite dessert recipe, maybe even some good puppy-safe recipes I could cook up for Sgt. Pupper. Maybe you want to share something about the game you're playing now, or about your favorite game in recent years. Just ramble on a little about something you're passionate about, and just state that you're in.

I won't list a bunch of rules and all that, just use common sense, and please respect that I won't consider entries from known scammers and all that sort of thing.

Prizes:

1st place: $9.99 GOG game/games of your choice (regularly priced or from whatever promo is happening at the time)
2nd place: $5.99 GOG game/games of your choice (regularly priced or from whatever promo is happening at the time)

Giveaway will close sometime around the 28th of March, give or take a day or three. I hope you are all doing well!
Happy Birthday in advance to you, your wife, and your dog! Not in, +1 to the giveaway. Playing Grim Dawn with my second character right now on Veteran (finished main story with first on normal), definitely get this if you have any liking for ARPGs. There's various good dual class combinations and nice skills to each class as well along with good lore/world building. Enemies are nice too, especially on veteran. From what I've seen it will be coming to GOG this month.
Happy Birthday! May the Supreme God of Heavy Metal see that you and your family are graced with eternal awesome and rock'n'roll! :D

I'm currently playing a bunch of games that are long overdue to be finished, so that I can move on to other things. These games include Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and Crysis Warhead.

As for music, a friend showed me Flogging Molly, which I quite enjoyed. You should give it a go sometime. ^_^

Thanks for sharing the awesome. :)
Thanks for the opportunity! I'm in!
My dad's birthday is also today! Happy birthday to you!!!! I hope you have a wonderful day and year!!! *pets Sergeant Pupper face*

I don't have any 1 single favorite song or album, but I'll list a few of my favorites, it's so hard to pick some and there's definitely a bunch not here that could be! :

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - Let Love In
Metallica - (the black album)
Primus - Frizzle Fry
Loreena McKennitt - The Book of Secrets
Leonard Cohen - The Future
Iced Earth - Alive in Athens
Therion - The Secret of the Runes

lots more!

here is my peanut butter cookies recipe that is yummmy I think:

1 cup butter, warmed just enough to get melty
2 cups peanut butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix the warmed butter, the peanut butter, 2 eggs, and vanilla extract together, then mix in the sugars.

Mix well together the rest of the dry ingredients.

Add the 2 mixtures

set oven to 350 and cook for 10-12 minutes depending on how big you made the cookies it could be longer!

sometimes I like to take chocolate chips and mix them into the batch too! nommmm...now I want some, damnit! I don't have any made!

I've also been just scratching the surface of Sunless Sea and it is the most unique game I've played in a long time! It's captivating and deep and just a great world and many many stories and things to discover. I think anyone who ever wanted to a Choose Your Own Adventure game, this is for you, as long as you like things a bit dark and like to read!

Happy birthday in advance to you, your wife and your dog! I have upvoted your post.

I wish you three have a great time. As for the giveaway, I'd like to be in.

As for the game I'm playing, I'm currently on my second playthrough of Shin Megami Tensei IV on the Nintendo 3DS. This JRPG series is quite unique because instead of being set in medieval times, it is set on a post-apocalyptic futuristic Tokyo; and it also allows you from some freedom of choice. This particular entry has four different endings, each one stemming from a different moral outcome.

It is also the first series to feature collectible battle monsters, a staple of popular game series like Pokémon.
Happy Birthday akhliber!

Not in, but thanks. Will post my favourite songs later.
Happy birthday to you all!!!
May the force be with you.

If you don't mind is this the order in your lovely pic that you used in avatar?
Because you used the same exact sequence in your post.
Lovely family pic. :)

Happy Birthday in advance! It seems we'll share the same decade for about 2 years.

Don't share much food with my dogs, it may seem disgusting (I certainly wouldn't eat it, but I know people who have it as chicken soup), but they usually get boiled chicken claws for dinner every day :D. Playing the first Thief right now, with a bunch of mods. Can't go too long in one session, I guess it is too frustrating for my play-style where I want everything perfect, but after this will try the sequel (only ever played the Deadly Shadows).

As for music, Is always difficult for me to find new music that I like, but an album with a couple songs that caught my attention recently was "" by The North Project. It is a collaborative album with different guests on each track, so every track won't be to every person's liking, but I particularly like [url=https://northproject.bandcamp.com/track/pines-ingen-vinner-frem-til-den-evige-ro]5 - Pines, 8 - Frozen Lakes, and it's follow up, 9 - Melting Lakes.

Thanks for the giveaway as well, I'd like to be in!
Happy Birthday. I am in.

The recipe I use for my Husky is a mixture of a glass of milk, banana pieces, peeled and cut pieces of avocado and tomato. It is basically a milk shake with a combination of banana, avocado and tomato.

Though some dogs could have a hard time digesting milk, my dog does not.

It fills him up for a few hours and is very nutritious.
Happy happy happy to all three of you! Not in, but wanted to congratulate your whole gang there on the calendar marks. I'd share some food tips for Sarge, except that I indulge dogs far beyond what is healthy, because they seem to so earnestly want whatever I am eating at the time. :)

Music, hmm, been playing Beastmilk a lot lately. Surprisingly catchy and even at times upbeat for post-apocalypse surf/punk/metal.
Not in. But happy birthday to all of you. Lately i've been on a nostalgia trip with Iron Maiden. Even though my favorite Maiden album is Seventh Son of the Seven Son (with Fear of the Dark a close second). I've listened to newer stuff like Brave New World or even the latest album, Book of Souls.

Happy birthday to you and your wife. It brightens my mood when I see positive and generous people in the forum.
Happy birthday to all three of you! :) My dad shares the same birthday as his mom, so that date means a lot to him. A few years after she passed I was lucky enough to marry a great woman whose birthday is one day before his. So now it's again turned into a day he can celebrate with a joyous family occasion. You have the same good luck, so cheers.
I recently completed Gothic 2 notr, and I liked it so much that even though I tried moving on to other games after that I came back for another go at it. It's a great game, but there is one thing that I feel strongly about, that keeps me from calling it my all-time favorite. I want to be someone I respect in a game world. I want to adopt a persona that shows qualities I would like to believe in myself having if I lived in that world. Unfortunately in some games, including this one, it's in my best interest to be a scummy person - to rob or murder innocent people, and more. I see forum posts or walkthroughs where someone describes the fun and in-game benefit of killing this or that farmer, shopkeeper, hooker...you get the picture. This makes me either forego benefits or be something I don't want to be.
Long post, I know. But I wish you and your family well. I'm in and thank for sharing this way.
