I would like to hear opinion from real americans - from those whose ancestors lived in america for at least 150 years, because they are most relevant . I would like to hear opinion from those whose grandgrandparents lived a life like those from Red Dead Redemption 2 , life like gunslingers and outlaws ... Those who live in countries like Mississipi,Alabama,Texas,Virginia ... and not from those who came to America through the sea or through southern border ... I want to hear opinion from people who live a life like those from Far Cry 5 , who live a life like real americans ...

I want to buy myself something nice... My gaming station is pretty decent,playstation 5 will be out next year , so i have nothing in plan so far regarding gaming ...

I have 5 digits on my bank account and im thinking about doing my biggest investment ever .... There were few things i was thinking about , like investing money into my own apartment, starting my own bussiness , travel to soviet empire , buying 8K television ... but since you only live once , among all those things, i prefer to get myself motorcycle !!

So long so far, i have nothing specific in mind,only thing i know is that i want real motorcycle, not some scooter ...
What do you real american people think about Harley-Davidson ... Is it overrated,or is it really example of perfection among motorcyles ... Since this might be my first bike,i'm looking after their cheapest models... If i'll go for this type of motorcycle , how do they stand against competition against Japanese motorcycles?

If we take germans for examples, they have 1 car brand called ''Opel'' ... Friend of mine bought Opel , and my other friends who are driving Mercedes,Audi and Alfa Romeo( i know it's italian) are making fun of her ...Ancient wisdow says if car is german,it must not be Opel ... I don't want to be someone who'll buy american motor, and then people who drive Yamaha,Honda,Suzuki will make fun out of me :(

Silliness aside, I know little of motorcycles except the basics but I hope you find what you are looking for. You might like a sporty and smaller asian style bike for the lower weight, though.....some harleys are supposedly very heavy.

Not American, but if you decide to go second hand with your motorcycle, make sure it is THOROUGHLY inspected, make sure every part is in decent condition and make sure you get a quality helmet, and learn the limits of your machine, its pros and cons, knowing everything can mean all the difference should you get in an accident.

I must have gotten hold of some bad acid; for a second I thought this thread was actually real.

It reminds me of the time a certain forum reg asked for a patch for GTA to make it "more black" by adding more drug dealers and hookers. YES that really happened.

They might be here, but I doubt it would help. My ancestors came here "only" about 110 years ago so I don't qualify. That said, I don't recall any discussions with my great grandparents about the Great Depression or really anything about what things were really like back then. Go back 150 years ago and everything is a tale of tale and likely embellished in each telling. I'm sure the reality of the times were they were as typical "boring" as our own lives. The stories told in media including video games are going to be loosely based on notable people, like the Earps and Doc Holliday or the Hatfields vs McCoys. Old West Sheriffs and bandits and prominent Indian chiefs.

What kind of a "fantastic" story is living life, growing food, and just generally living?

There's nothing better than Japanese.

Second would be German. But them nowadays loosing their reputation.

So Japanese is the way to go.

American cars/bikes are a joke in comparison.

Does anyone have any relatives that come from Pangaea?

I want to know what kind of cars people were driving before the continents separated.

I'm getting ready to make a very large investment in a new automobile, and I want to know for sure it's authentic to 180 million years ago, and not just 90 million years ago.

I know, cause I am from Russia. And whenever I speak in English, people around me, start to bleed from their ears and die in pain and suffering. It's just terrible, terrible... ;(

I mean, I can trace my ancestry back within the US into the 17th and 18th centuries. I'm descended from pilgrim leader John Robinson from my father's mother's side. My dad did quite a lot of genealogy research, even on my mom's side, and I've got information on literally hundreds of ancestors all born in the US.

What the **** this has to do with motorcycles I cannot fathom.
