Quake Live now costs $9.99 dollars (USD) on Steam.

Vote for it to get sold on gog.com.

I heard it's a clone of Quake III Arena? I never played Quake Live.
Why are we still here... just to pay $10... the browser I've lost... the clan I've lost... won't stop hurting... you feel it too don't you?... I'm gonna make 'em give back our quake
Quake Live is still a thing?

Seems silly. Mostly there are plenty enough quake games, with multiplayer features. The only thing you really need is a way to interface getting into/joining a group for a multiplayer death-match.

I also comment it's silly because quake has been losing favor for a while, it was the king when it was one of the only multiplayer games out there (including Unreal Tournament), but with so many more options it's been losing steam for a long while.

Errm, no.
Very odd transition, we'll see how it works out.
