Claro is specifically used to treat swimmer's ear in dogs and requires a prescription to purchase. It's not meant to be used on cats at all period ever as there are other medications to treat ear infections in cats. It's similar to how Solensia is cat only and Librela is dog only even though both medications are used to treat arthritis.


As for the killer liter box that dnovraD mention, the channel One Man Five Cats goes into details about it. Although he uses a plus toy to demonstrate how unsafe the litterboxes are, it can still be gruesome to watch. This video is why I will never use an automatic literbox ever.

I've never owned an automatic one, but I can see some advantages and they can be constructed in a safe way – as shown in the video. If the inner container rotates around the axis through the opening, nothing bad can happen if the sensors fail – like the big rotating barrels on a playground or a hamster wheel. There are too many products being sold that are not safe at all.
