You don't have to do anything. Just insert the code, click continue and, if necessary, the captcha will show up.

Yes but i was using an other email that i use mostly for youtube and it didn't let me since it said that it couldn't connect should check connection, now had to go to my real email and it works.
I was redeemeing a code for stalker cd game key.
I liked the previous click away option more if i really need to go to my own email now to use this then it's just a hassle, since i am mostly on youtube with another email.

tinyE: it's been fucking with me lately too.
Yeah it does weird stuff from time to time.
Does it now matter which email i am logged in on gmail to use reCAPTCHA? Because gog is connected with my real email, but was using another email because i was on youtube.
Or was it just not working currently.
Will mark as solved if answered.
???? I NEVER had to use any email for that thingy, instead it asks to click on silly pictures.

I didn't get anything to click than continue but it said can't connect check your connection.
This is just me assuming you need a google account to use recaptcha with your original email and not some other email that has another google account.

I'm not going to teach obvious robots how to work out the reCAPTCHA.
Would be good to get someone with authority to clarify things for us.

I hope post #10 was a joke :-)

No, you don't need a google account at all to click a captcha/redeem a code.

You don't, but if you are signed in to one it generally means you don't have to do it (or at least that's what I find as I hardly ever need to do them and am always signed in to Google).

I can't seem them actively penalising you for being signed into a different email account though...

Eh, I'm always signed into my google, and I ALWAYS have to do this captcha if I redeem a gift.
