Hey guys,

anybody experience with the n64 emulator project 64? I am trying to make a video about Duke Nukem zero hour on n64 off which I have an actual n64 cartridge but for the video it's for me the only way to collect footage with an emulator.

The problem is I can bind all the keys like it was a modern console fps but I can't seem to invert aim (or change the sensitivity). Anybody know how??
I had some issue in Wine with inability to adjust sensitivity. Perhaps this can help. Solution was to find and disable all joysticks, even virtual ones.

Hmm that might work. I'll give it a shot. Control on the N64 wasn't perfect either but it's worse on the emulator. Almost too bad to get used too.

Maybe I should just research some capture software, I'll probably need it eventually for my youtube channel (that I only just started 2 weeks ago) even if I was just planning to only do pc games (and mostly stuff from here)
What I mean is, try to disable all input devices in the emulator that you dont use. I had a virtual joystick from IPMI that would confuse the game and it would silently use instead of mouse, thus adjustments there didnt work.
Two suggestions: Try using a different N64 emulator. ( I think there are at least 2 or 3 decent ones? ) Or try managing your controller settings via some external controller software.
You could either:
A: Use keyboard input, then map those keys to JoyToKey for use with a joypad. (and reverse the emulated joystick vertices obviously)

B: Umm... route the RCA cables into some sort of device that allows input to a video card or somewhere into your computer/monitor in order to record footage??

I know it's possible, I just don't know the specifics. :)

My experience is limited to Ultra64. However most if not all good emulators will allow you to invert both axises.

Although to note... Often when putting in for input and addressing them, you could insert them in reversed, since they have to work with keyboard, it doesn't mean the up/down for the sticks are connected to a single input, instead it's two inputs. So if it says Axis1X+, get it to say Axis1X- and it might just work.
Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll see if i can get it to work.
I think there is a controller plugin that solve that issue... Nrage I think its called... but not sure since I didn't use project64 for a long time...

I think I used that but I couldn't figure it out. I managed to set my controller like I would a modern console shooter because of it. But inverting aim or changing sensitivity didn't work or I was too stupid to figure it out...
