I am trying to buy Fell Seal: Arbiter Mark since this saturday (6th of august) but everytime I try to read and/or copy the QR code for me to pay it, it doesn't work... I've tried multiple times, generating different codes, even different games on the cart to check if the error was with the game itself but nothing worked. I am unable to buy any game from gog right now and I have no idea what to do next.

Ok, I'll bite: what QR code?
Is this (once again!) related to another of these "Brazil only" payment service thingies?

Maybe someone from Brazil should do a post about the ins and outs of these services in regard to overseas payment, and ask GOG to turn it into a sticky thread.

Idk what you talking about these brazil only thingies, really don't - I always buy up the games via PIX - they create a QR code then I scan it with my cell phone and that's it; but this time the QR code is always ending up in error message on my phone... and I've already tried this over and over, for 2 days already...

I see... Didn't know it was a brazil exclusive thingie and all... well, there they talk about BoaCompra and etc. that is the one company who manages the payments I made in the past, but since saturday it does not seem to be working properly... don't know what to do... Always end up in an ERROR message of some sort

Okay, so what we mean by "Brazil only payment service thingies" is that the entire rest of the world uses credit cards, debit cards, paypal or "Paysafecards" for people who for reasons known unto only themselves don't want to use the real banking system. People then either pay in local currency (if supported) or their card providers/paypal convert (typically) from USD or EUR into local currency.

For reasons that I've never really understood (inflation? under-developed banking system? restrictive laws?) Brazil seem to do things differently to everyone else and rely on Brazil only payment methods such as Boleto and this Pix thing.

What this means is that you're restricted to seeking support from other Brazilian users as for the vast majority of us, we've got no idea how the latest Brazilian payment system works. However, I'd also give the advice I gave in the Pix thread to the other user, which is "bear in mind that this is an international community and that people won't know about niche, highly localised products/solutions like Pix. Next time, give some more context and some explanation so that we know what you're talking about."

well this is my first post ever and I had no way to have a single clue about anything you just said, so I can't say I am sorry because it is not my fault at all - PIX is like a method of online payment where everything is resolved in a fast and easy way via bank app, but since this saturday it doesn't seem to be working... the QR Codes BoaCompra generates are all ending up in error messages, don't know what else I could give info with. I didn't even know PIX was something only here in Brazil... I thought it was already being used in a worldwide scale, since it is so simple and easy... welll, whatever... I've sent help msg to the support team on gog and I'm here in hopes of some tangible answer...

The basic TL;DR: Brazil has massive financial corruption problems, so citizens can't even trust their own system. After getting gouged by the IOC for a failed attempt to market the country yet again and leaving their citizens with yet another useless massive stadium with structural problems, I can't be shocked that the citizens have trust issues. I can't imagine the massive downturn of tourism has helped things much either.
