Einki: Hey guys, I'm in the same wagon, just asked for a refund because I bought the collectors edition but haven't received a human response, I'm not agree with the wallet funds, I want a refund to my original payment method.

Do you think that if I start a PayPal claim they could attend a simple petition or there could be some kind of recoil such as banning my PayPal account?

I love to buy games from the platform using PayPal I wouldn't want to say goodbye because of this situation...
It's the holidays, GoG are celebrating or, more likely, sleeping off the celebrations lol. Seriously though, if you can wait, just wait a bit longer and if no one responds, lets say, in a week, then start a dispute via Paypal. Paypal is not going to suspend you account because of that, it's their job to protect your money, you are paying them for that by using their service.

Adam_M._Steiner: I only tried GOG because everyone said it had the most customer friendly service of all the games sites - now I can't process a refund which would have taken two clicks of a mouse and less than a few minutes to process on either Steam or Epic.
I feel exactly the same. Still waiting for a refund that would have been taken care of in a minute on Steam. How can you run a large company like GOG and think you can still have people manually perform those tasks?
I'm done purchasing games here.

SolarHUN: They just probably have money issues with all the incoming lawsuits, refunds and other problems and doesnt want to give people their money back until they are good. Disgusting
Their support staff is seriously understaffed and was not prepared for a launch like Cyberpunk especially considering the launch went "bad". This is bad planning from their side and here I agree with people being mad.

But no idea how to take clowns like you seriously.
You are refunding a game which you played for at least 60 hours . So did you torture yourself for 60 hours playing a fundamentally broken game or what happened? Or did your cat play it?

And that baseless claim about the money issues is an even bigger joke. Cdproject is a publicly traded company. By checking their sheets one could see that they easily could survive even without selling a single unit of Cyberpunk but ya let's spread tinfoil hat conspiracies bc we had to wait a bit for a ballsy refund(considering the play duration) over christmas and holiday season . And sadly you will even get that given refund in the end.
19 days here

Yup, that's what I've been thinking about the holidays and everything but I'm worried that on the 10th it's going to be 30 days since the game launched and I don't want them to use an excuse for the refund.

I think it's not going to be the case because I still have some faith in the company even though it's a company hehehe.

SolarHUN: I've also submitted a refund request 20 days ago and still no response.

Communication, refunds, emails, all done via the internet so the excuse of "Covid quarantine" doesnt fly.

They just probably have money issues with all the incoming lawsuits, refunds and other problems and doesnt want to give people their money back until they are good. Disgusting

Even with all these covid stupidity is going around, customer services are still operational every where else. As they should be since that can be even done from home.
hello fellow hungarian
agree support should need an overhaul and probably way more staff than they currently has
these are not even physical items and 20+ days for mere tickets which should be trivial to solve is unacceptable

gog made the rules for refund , they should make it clearer but according to those rules it shouldn't matter how long someone played the game

Well he earned the clown title by just spreading baseless and wrong information about CDProjekts financial situation (which can easily checked with just 2 minutes of research).

Also after playing a game for 60 hours and then taking/still expecting the "voluntary refund"
this rule also may apply:
We're monitoring the effects of the current update to make sure no one is using this policy to hurt the developers that put their time and heart into making great games. We may refuse refunds in such individual cases.

see it is not clear
It's my first time using gog. I applied for a refund because I had a discount event a day after I bought the game.
Unfortunately, he replied to an email asking him to choose a refund method in cash, but the game was not refunded until the event was over. After that, I sent a refund request e-mail several times and everyone said they would get a refund in cash, but the refund has not been processed until now, almost a month after the first e-mail was sent. Recently, even if you apply for a refund, you have not even received an email asking you to choose a method. I'm nervous if my refund is going well. If there's anyone who experienced something similar on "gog", please give me advice.
