Previously i have used GOG only with my laptop, without problems.
Today i finally decided to install it to my desktop. I bought some games from browser version, and after downloading the client, i noticed that it won't start.

The black window opens and there's this circle rolling like it was loading something, but it's just stuck there. No errors, no time out or anything. I tried to uninstall several times, tried to fix potential firewall issue, but nothing seems to help. I have Windows 11.

Can anybody help me with this?

Same problem, first time buying something from GOG and I can't even install my game... really not a great first experience.

There's a lot of hints for different issues on internet, but not for this one, unfortunately.

Okay, i tried to reinstall about thousand times, and suddenly, it started to work. Only difference this time was different name of folder. Coincidence? I don't know. Probably luck.

1. Close/shut down (and uninstall) Galaxy
2. On the website, go into your library (as pictured)
3. Click on the Skyrim game entry
4. Ignore the marked part
5. And click on "Download Offline Backup Game Installers"
6. Download the 7 parts of "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition" as well as the 2 parts of "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Upgrade" (should end up with 1 .EXE and 6 .BINs and 1. EXE and 1 .BIN respectively)
7. Go to the location you downloaded these files to, execute both .EXEs and let it install
8. Profit

works fine here through mobile internet, installed by default some months ago
occasionally it drops the connection after the computer went to sleep or when trying to browse the same thing same time through galaxy and a browser, and a profile is for achievements only unlike the browser one for "posting on the wall" , glad you fixed yours : )

Good for me now as well, I didn't change anything so I guess it was a temporary issue on their end.
