Darvond: So why not use your bank issued debt card?
Wire transfer should be from bank to bank, with no third party.
As far as I know, card payment always involves a third party, usually Mastercard or Visa.

I actually have no issue understanding Topoli request, I too would like being able to buy games using wire transfer.

PaterAlf: What about PaySafe cards? You can buy them anonymously at any store and use them without giving away any data.

Topoli: Yeah, but best would be to have no other company in between.
Do that, but deposit it into a GOG Wallet.

Only one "3rd party" transaction that way; and the later individual purchases come out of that GOG Wallet (no 3rd party [I don't think]).

At least it's a possible alternative to use while you await implementation of direct wired bank transfers...

Topoli: And I dont use credit cards or debit or whatever, I can transfer money from my bank _directly_ to a seller, no third-party is involved (maybe this is not possible in some/all other countries? Would be weird...).
This is very uncommon for consumer transactions. It might be more common in Germany as credit card resistance in that country was quite high (although it has got better since Covid as most retailers have decided that it's better to have contactless cards than handling cash - no doubt helped by the Betriebsrats kicking off about the risk of their members handling cash touched by other people).

In general, most consumer facing businesses don't like money being transferred to them directly from consumers; there's often a delay in payments being cleared (especially international transfers - you transfer from Germany to Poland, and it will take between 1-3 days to clear; for good business sense, GoG would have to wait for your payment to clear into their account before releasing the game to you) and there's also an increased money laundering risk (with cards, the processing company bears some responsibility, so it doesn't fall on the seller).

In any case, good luck with your wishlist request. I suspect it will be too niche for GoG to act on, but you're entitled to ask.

Nah... entity who is able to expend the force for additional downward Newtons on a keyboard, I am one of the last sane ones alive. Or in case you are one of the goon squad. I was only roleplaying :D

But seriously, this forum is a joke.
No creative insults for ages.
Bunch of full blown threads about genitalia and how serious people feel about it.
The 80s would only have one word for it. Uncool.

Or am I sick and you are the sane one*

Darvond: So why not use your bank issued debt card? Is it a matter of GOG not accepting your Wunsiedel Express card?
Either Gog or Adyen (the payment processor used for both credit/card payments and for Google Pay payments) has entangled paying by card with paying via Google Pay. Even though they're two separate parts on the checkout page, if you block Google on that page then the "credit/debit card" option just shows a spinner and never loads.
