There's something strange in the neighborhood...

Hello Neighbor, an unsettling stealth/horror experience about infiltrating your creepy neighbor's house, is now available for pre-order, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Looks at this guy. There is something up with him, you just know it. If only you could sneak into his basement and investigate.
But be careful: Every distraction, trick, or access point you try will soon be countered by the adaptive AI, so you need to be smart and quick if you want to uncover all his secrets without becoming one of them...

Pre-order now and get immediate access to the game's playable early builds.
These will appear under Backups & Goodies in your library.

Want a free taste? Try the demo!

Watch the trailer.

mechmouse: Have you contacted the Devs and asked if Key Binding will be on the release version? It's not worth dismissing a game because the beta had this functionality missing.

AlienMind: Demo != Beta. Even Beta would mean feature complete sans bugfixes.
Your right is not beta

Pre-order and get access to Alpha builds 2-4. The Pre-alpha and Alpha 1 builds are available to download for free here.
Its ALPHA

Contacts devs see if keybinding is included
Has potential. I certainly like the idea. Hope the developer's hammer will do good repair job until v1.0.

A game from tinyBuild. No thanks! i am not interested in another game which will not be updated. They should be banned from GOG.

Fairfox: Horror, eee taht's a pass. Too bad. Still, twist bein' you're Essential Lee teh creepy one for breakin' into your neighbor's basement/house? What a jerk! Arrest teh peon, at least. Still, I've seen Rear Window (!) so I gets it. Rear Window but not Back to teh Future. Or Near Lee every other movie, evah.

bonzer: I'll add another....if they can't even spell "neighbour" properly in the TITLE then the rest of the game is probably poorly made as well.

Fairfox: True dat.

...Wait, wut.

This is a British color/colour thang? How many u's do you need?! Any other examples? S'not liek Imma need this info when I visit but it's weeeird, fella. You guys say "fella" for both sexes, right?

Anyhoohar, should be 'naybur' to simplify. There's a u for you. For u.

What do peeps think of teh game's art style? Just makin' conversation.
Favour/favourite too. Pretty much any time you see a -or at the end of the word. For example, Dishonored should have been spelled Dishonoured. And that's a AAA game that misspelled its name.

It's not everyone else's fault the US randomly decided to drop the Us in random words around the 1840s. And before you say 'adapt to the times', I'll wait for the US to adopt the metric system.

About how many Us we need: We need you, all of you!

Ah, so Bethesda is the true evil here? I see.

Also I'm fairly certain the US takes out all the Us because they're conserving them for typing USA.

gg TinyBuild. Make Beta to feel more like an Alpha version.
Marvellous...

Yesterday I played the latest beta build of Hello Neighbor, so I took the time to write a lenghty post here to report my impressions to other goggers who might be interested in getting this game. Unfortunately, gog forum curators rejected my post as being "too niche" and "not a good fit", so it doesn't show up at all.

I don't want to waste my time writing all that stuff again, so I'll keep it short and sweet: Judging by the beta, this game is certainly not worth $30 - if it's worth getting at all. The differences in gameplay between pre-alpha and beta are minor at best. It's buggy, badly designed and the AI can't even compare to games like Thief (which is pushing 20 years old).
tinyBuild duz it again!

This time they even managed to keep a game out of date that hasn't even been released yet: gog is still stuck at the first beta version of Hello Neighbor!, whereas Beta 3 was launched on Steam half a month ago. Congratulations!

Also, the game has been pushed back from its August 29 release date all the way to December 8. While I generally think this is a smart move, I wonder if the devs of Jazzpunk will be as appreciative. Not that they're likely to loose a lot of money - no one in their right minds should spend $30+ on the awful mess that currently is Hello Neighbor. I'll keep you all updated when the devs release a beta that is fun enough to be worth playing. That is, IF they release another beta here at all.

In other related news:
● What we referred to as Pathologic is now Pathologic 2 to avoid confusion between the original game, Pathologic Classic HD, The Marble Nest, Mor. Utopia, and so on
● tinyBuild partnered up with Ice-Pick Lodge to bring Pathologic 2 to market in 2018
● All original pledges are still in effect
● We’re changing the development methodology to become more open, similar to what tinyBuild did with Hello Neighbor — allowing in-development access to game builds to fans who support the development

On the Marble Nest

[...] you can now download the standalone version of the demo here. Just download, unpack, and play. Also useful for those of you who do not like Steam.
