I'm also a fan of this description style. If I'm going to read text, why not read the text on the game page? Also, a short form log combining both updates and new releases as mentioned in the weekly sale thread would be wonderful.

As for the game itself, I'd give a demo a try.

I like the new format for sales. For games I'd actually like a few more infos. Like about the theme. I don't have a lot of time to play and before when a game sounded interesting in the news I opened the gamecard for details and often put it on the wishlist / bought it.
Now I was just like "oh ok, don't have enough time anyway" and moved on and did not even check what the game is about.

But now, you can go straight to the games page and read up a little about the game, and then decide whether to wish list/buy it, without having to wade through up to a paragraph of third-party waffle. :)
