What gets to me is that Canada is being treated like a developing country whose citizens don't have much discretionary income and who thus need a discount to afford the game. Because that's how they treat other developing countries:

Poles & Czechs pay 43.59 USD
Mexicans & Brazilians pay 44.99 USD
Russians pay 15.79 USD

On the other end of the spectrum, in developed countries:

Europeans pay 65.39 USD
Aussies pay 63.41 USD
Brits pay 72.13 USD

Now, Canadians pay 46.99 USD. Hmm, within which of the two above groups does that fit best? You tell me.

"lol are you really upset that you're being charged less?" Yes, yes I am. I want to know why I'm being lumped in with poor countries.

You cannot claim it's due to the weak Canadian dollar, since the Australian dollar almost exactly parallels the CAD in deterioration and value.

Speaking of which, why does every developed country get to use their own currency? You can't claim it's because there aren't enough Canadians to bother, since Australians get to use their own currency yet there are fewer Australians than there are Canadians.

This all reeks of "lol canada, that dump? charge them a pittance, the poor things, how else could they afford it?"

Tell me I'm wrong. Give me an explanation, someone, because until now I had nothing negative to say about CDPR or GOG.
Now you're just being negative for the sake of being negative. Thanks but I'll pass.

Really? I went from having nothing negative to say of CDPR/GOG for as long as I've known them to taking issue with being treated like a developing country and not being able to pay in my currency despite a country with fewer people being able to - all "for the sake of being negative"? Why would I do that now and not when I first found out about CDPR years ago when I played the Witcher? Or years later when I played The Witcher 2? Or a month ago when I replayed the Witcher 2? Or a week ago when I first started hunting around for deals on The Witcher 3?

As a Canadian, are you not sick and tired of being treated like a second class citizen of the developed world? Are you not sick of Amazon.ca offering trash selection compared to .com? Are you not sick of Netflix not having as good selection as Americans? Are you not sick of being charged $30 in shipping from US to CAN? Are you not sick of seeing "Sorry, this video is not available in your region?" Are you not sick of online stores outright refusing to take your money because "We don't ship internationally"? (Are you not sick of finding that out only after you check out and try to pay?) Are you not sick of people assuming that since you speak English online you must be American? Are you not sick of Amazon Prime being a complete joke in Canada? Are you not sick of Americans gradually trying to eclipse the Canadian NHL market (seriously, a hockey team in Vegas?! Are you kidding me, NHL??)

Do you even Canada, bro?

Aelius28: So, since they don't offer the option to pay in CAD, that means I can never get store credit like that?
You'll get store credit in USD. Basically if your price is larger than what the American has to pay, regardless of whether your currency is supported or not, you get store credit.
