The annoying thing isn't that you posted about TW3 in the General Chat forum, it's that you did that without even mentioning what game you were talking about. GOG does sell more than one game you know.

You keep your damn dirty ape paws off me and mine!
Going to a wedding this weekend; gonna try this out once we get there. Neither one is named Geralt / Gerald / Jerry / Geraldo / Jermaine, but hopefully it works.
Wedding crashed? Just DSC the Diva that crashed the wedding.

(Can anyone identify the game I am referring to?)
Just have someone at the entrance who asks for the card. That usually deters wedding crashes.
Here I was thinking you were talking about real wedding crashers.

I was sitting here thinking, "You know, a couple of UA-571-C's ought to do the trick..."

Or at least mention what game you are talking about to begin with. There are 1284 game titles on GOG.

I presume you are talking about The Witcher 3? Yeah, reposting your advice to the TW3 subforum might also make sense as that is probably the place people will go to, if they have issues with that specific game.

I always do that, e.g. when I had some persistent crashing problems with Sanitarium (the game), I went to the Sanitarium subforum to check if other people had similar problems, and if they had found fixes or workarounds for them. i also posted my learnings about it, ie. what helped me to get around them, just if it helps some other people later.

Here in the general discussion forum your advice will be quickly forgotten under piles of newer threads, hard to find later. Plus, since your message has no indication of what game you are talking about, it is even harder for new users to find it later.

Anyway, when I originally saw the title of the message, I figured this must be some tongue-in-the-cheek discussion of what to do about people who come uninvited to your wedding party. Or alternatively, how to be a wedding party crasher yourself without anyone being able to prevent you.
I once crashed a wedding to get my fix. Fun was had.
