Is there any way to petition to GOG.com to see about getting this great classic RPG added to the game list?

You can create or support a wishlist entry:

I did too. Great game.
I voted for it years ago.

I hope it will come to GOG some day.

I know it had a lot of hate for the nasty bugs it had out the door, but it was a really great revisited setting. The game play tweren't bad either.
I found myself getting bored rather fast with this title. It also had the "Operating System" killing bug when it originally released. I guess I must have missed something.

There needs to be more SSI games here on GOG, like for example, "the Gold box series".

Ah, one of my big disappointments in gaming. The single player campaging it has is just one big, boring mess. I did hear it would have been more fun in multiplayer, but the time I got it I wasn't into multiplayer and when I would have later been into it, the game was already dead.

Yeah, me too. I tried to play through twice, once when it was released and once years later but on both accounts I got bored really quickly and quit... A shame really because the original is a true classic!

That was patched out immediately and has never been a problem since. That's like saying you're not using HTTPS and SSL because there once was a Heartbleed bug.
