Because chances to see it on mass media are probably very low. He speaks in English btw.

On the right of freedom of opinion expression.
For those of us whose sources of news are the GOG forums, Imgur, Phoronix, IDG, and some maths-, language-, retro-computer-, and gaming-related Youtube channels, please explain a little bit about who this guy is and what the talk is about.

EDIT: Oh, um, sorry. my fault. Didn't read the full post. THE LAST LINE IS IMPORTANT, FOLKS!

Assad is the guy who took over Syria. Some say he's a prick, some say he's just a replacement scrappy. But the fact is, things have gone a bit tilt for his county for a while.
Either the stalwart friend or the hated adversary, depending on how you turn the N.

You mean Ghedaffi's replacement? Ghedaffi who was willing to step down and begged for the rights of his people so ISIS wouldn't take over? And Ghedaffi Hillary said 'we came, we saw, he died'?

Perhaps! But what are we, but a simple group of gamers playing titles from 2000 and before supposed to know?

History IS my worst subject. However I've been watching the news daily for the last month or so, and Syria and many other topics are being re-brought up as new things unfold, new information. Some of it is outright scary, like talks of WW3 coming up.

Perhaps something a little as reading the headlines of news will give you a general feel of what's going on in the world.

edit: Looking for the relationship between Assad and Gaddafi, however first impressions is they are two separate leaders from two different (probably neighboring) countries. I am currently reading and watching various snippets of information and news to straighten this out. So my previous comment is likely misinformed.

Regardless Gaddafi was loved by his people.

I particularly love the Fire-based russian weaponry that was presented lately!

https://www.hrw.org/news/2016/08/16/syria/russia-incendiary-weapons-burn-aleppo-idlib

Doubly so, since it gave amerikanski lots of headaches, stomachaches and nightmares! Even that junkies' corner, the UN, didn't like russian toys at all!

Go Putin!!! <3 Go Assad! <3

Just wipe the parasites out that were created out of american irresponsibility, endless meddling, loss of control and vile scheming!

Gee, Russians are ideal for cleaning after american shitstorms' mess! Whee! Burn the garbage with fire, yay!

They'll find someone to blame, else they'll invent someone, don't you worry about that.

Are you talking about Breja or Kleetus?
Either way, I think you're barking up the wrong tree.
