I find it strange that GOG does not have more games. There are many here, no doubt. But there are plenty of classics out there, not in here, many that also are freeware and the original company bankrupt\ gone. Is it that hard to get the legal permits etc in order to patch games.

I would like to see pizza tycoon, it was awesome. Everyone loves a tycoon game where you can blow up your competitors shop and at the same time make your own pizza.
depends on the legal matters
who owns the rights
if they want to do something with them
if the original company that owned them went tits up
and so on

its not as easy as gog saying alllrriight we want that game in the window plox

for example tmnt on the nes
nintendo has to work out a deal with the following companies
viacom who owns tmnt
konami who created the orginal game
and either activision or ubisoft who own the current license

the discworld games are also a clusterfuck
cause Gt interactive ( publisher) and perfect entertainment ( developer ) are gone
and god knows who owns the rights to those games now
and the estate of pratchett has a veto regardless

lets not get started on the mess that were the star trek games or the system shock games huh ?
