Does anybody has problems purchasing pinata? My credit card is blocked on gog....

Onsdag: You'll find a current listing of all titles revealed so far, along with their prices, on my list.
avatar
paladin181: That's not even close to comprehensive as games that I got and posted in this thread aren't on the list.
*sigh*

Old list (archived; no longer updated. These are games that were in the pool on days 1-2)
New list (These are games that are in the new pool starting day 3 - today - since GOG made some changes by removing/adding a bunch of games from the pool. See here for more information)

Please make sure that we're on the same page. Because GOG removed a whole bunch of games this morning then the old list is no longer applicable and we needed to start a new list that represents the current selection pool, otherwise it will not be representative of what people can actually expect to get from the pinatas. Now, if you did get something (starting today) that I somehow missed then please correct me as I am trying to be accurate. I am only going off what people post in this thread.

Well, I should have known better than to buy more pinatas since I was only interested in 10 games out of the 100+. Odds definitely not in my favor. $30 dollars down the crapper, and suddenly I remember why I stay away from lotteries and casinos.

Day 1 (three pinatas):

Skyshine's Bedlam (not interested)
Imperium Galactica 2 (not interested)
Trine 2 (bought on Steam in 2012)

Today (seven pinatas):

Meridian Squad 22 (not interested)
Caravan (not interested)
Act of War Gold Edition (not interested)
Warlords Battlecry 3 (not interested)
Oxenfree (not interested)
Litil Divil (not interested)
The Inner World (bought on Steam in 2014)

-Two games I already own, awesome. Super glad to buy these twice. Actually this works out great, because just the other night I was laying in bed thinking to myself "I'd really like to re-purchase games I bought years ago and will never play again because that's more important to me than buying food or putting gas in the car." :p

-Four RTS's, a genre I stopped enjoying a decade ago - quadruple awesome. (I actually love strategy games, but only of the turn-based variety.)

No fun shall be had on this day, the 17th of August, in the year 2017.

(Not applying for refunds here - I gambled and lost. Sucks but that's the way it usually goes.)
Which ones were removed?
new games added:

Big Pharma
Drox Operative
Pilot Brothers 2
Infinium Strike
Democracy 3 Africa
This War of Mine Soundtrack Edition
Gratuitous Space Battles 2
Political Animals
Spacecom
Parkan: Iron Strategy
Parkan: The Imperial Chronicles
BLACKHOLE
Space Rangers: Quest
Pilot Brothers 3: Back Side of the Earth
Order of the Thorne: The King's Challenge
Yuuuusssssss!!!

Last night, I decided to gamble once again, hoping that I'd get my white whale - Tempest. Calculating my odds, I gingerly stuck a toe into the pool and bought two Pinatas.

No dupes! Sigh of relief, but what games were they?
- Eador. Imperium - Damn, a dupe! Uhhhh, wait a minute, how come I haven't got a gift code email from GOG? Ohhhh, it's the new one. Yay!

- Agatha Christie - The ABC Murders - Meh.

But no Tempest! No Tyranny. Dare I brave the whirlpool again? Like Ahab, I had lost sight of reality (but not my maths). Holding my nose, and once again calculating the number of desirable unowned games versus not, I plunged in! And. Bought. Four. More.

- Serious Sam's Bogus Detour - Ehhh, it completes the Serious Sam series, I suppose.

- Tyranny: Commander Edition - Yes, a shiny!

- Kim - Oh well, I did contemplate once pledging on Kickstarter for this.

- Tempest.

Oh you beauty. I have fished my white whale. My lost money chasing after this ephemeral beast has been avenged!

Now I eat ramen for the rest of my life.

wanderer_27: So the Pool is only 77 games now instead of 100+ ?

Seems odd, but there were all kinds of issues.

Onsdag: No, it's just that people have only started reporting their games on this new list. Most games only have 1-2 hits so far. Over time I'm sure the list will expand.
Then why are you drawing conclusions about the average price of the games if you know that the list is incomplete? Even now after over 20 titles have been added the list is still missing numerous titles like Owlboy, Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People, Serious Sam's Bogus Detour, The Age of Decadence, Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series, Drox Operative, Heroes of Might and Magic V, multiple King's Bounty games, ... etc.

I do think that the higher priced games are more rare as I got most of them after starting to exhaust the game pool.

BeatriceElysia: Does anybody has problems purchasing pinata? My credit card is blocked on gog....
It happened to me in the past when I made several small purchases in a row. Card was automatically blocked, because bank suspected fraud. You have either to contact your bank or wait 24 hours (at least that did it to me).
Yesterday I got:

Skyshine Bedlam's Deluxe Edition
The Guild 2
The Guild 2 - The Renaissance

Skyshine seems interesting to me on paper with a postapocalyptic setting and turn based combat, but reviews seem to suggest that it doesn't do these things all too well. I was a little bummed getting The Guild 2 and Renaissance back to back since they do the same thing but one of them is superior to the other. The Guild 2 also has some pretty bad reviews and many suggest skipping that one to go for Renaissance instead. I am interested in the concept of the game in general and have eyed The Renaissance in particular before though, so it's not a complete dud.

Overall I now got

Tyranny - Commander Edition
Trine - Enchanted Edition
CivCity: Rome
Skyshine Bedlam's Deluxe Edition
The Guild 2
The Guild 2 - The Renaissance

for 16,14 € total. I would say that Tyranny is worth the price of admission alone considering that roleplaying games are maybe my favorite genre, so at the end of the day I am quite happy about this. Tyranny also was the very first game I got, so of course I kept trying some more times, even thought spending the money on other discounted games that I am actually interested in would have been a smarter move.
Trine seems to be critically acclaimed and beloved, but I personally loathe platformers. I installed and played the game for a couple of minutes and think it's gorgeous, so I might end up playing through that one anyway, if only to see what the fuss is all about.
Did they change pricing for any games since pinatas have launched? I was almost sure that I was a case of "your pinata game is sold cheaper than a pinata". Now that I am checking, those games are more expensive than pinatas.
