So out of the three pinatas I bought, two of them currently sell for $2.99 and none of them are for my platform, bad luck I guess. I don't have interest in those games either. Needless ot say I won't be buying any more.

My games are:
Capitalism 2
Time Commando
SpellForce Platinum

ped7g: Bought 10 at the same time, got 2 new games and 8 duplicates, while there are on the list some things I would like, but looks like the pool is now full of: Shadowrun Returns, Guild 2 Renaissance, Saints Row: Gat out of Hell (got several duplicates of these). Meh :/

At least I hope they will refund it smoothly, as this is very irritating and costing me lot of time at the moment when I already should have been elsewhere, grrr...

Sounds like they might have contingent that gets used up with the most desirable games being more limited? That would be very disapointing.
Seeing as I've got most of the cheap stuff on GOG already, I thought I'd give it a go with another six, seeing as, technically speaking, the stakes were pretty good for me.

I got:

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons (€3.09) - Have it DRM-free on Humble already (and on Steam, and boxed on PS4)
Her Story (€2.69) - Have it DRM-free on Humble already (and on Steam)
Armikrog (€3.09) - Didn't have it, didn't want it for good reason.
Trine 2 (€2.69) - Have it DRM-free on Humble already (and on Steam, and digitally on PS4)
Republique (€11.09) - Probably marginally the best catch of the six, have it boxed on the PS4 but not on PC to date)
Kyn (€3.99) - Didn't have, didn't want, especially as the developers have abandoned the game and left it broken on GOG.

Average discounted price: €4.44 (Pinata price: € 2.69).

So, owning 1135 games on GOG prior to the purchase, I got 3 games that have been heavily Humble Bundled, two abandoned betas and one decent-ish game.

I'm guessing at this point that the game is pretty rigged for me to be that unlucky.

What's up with that anyway? Many of the reviews seem to indicate that, but I am on mission 3 now and had no troubles so far.
I bought 5 Pinatas, hoping to get the 5 games I didn't already own - Tempest, Tyranny, Sexy Brutale, Superhot and Serious Sam's Bogus Detour. Only two of the games are on my wishlist, but ehh, I'll try anything gamewise, and it's only $3 a punt.

I got all duplicates.
- *2* Bombshells - I was quite happy when I got it in a previous Pinata as despite the bad reviews, I was interested, but I wasn't willing to shell out more than $3 to play it because of the bad reviews.

- HOMM IV - One of my first purchases at GOG, back in the day. *sigh* *wipes a nostalgic tear away* Insomnia...

- Spellforce Platinum - Another early purchase.

- Skyshine's Bedlam Deluxe - I was a Kickstarter backer, but only at a base level, so upgrading my copy to Deluxe from a previous Pinata was nice. Did I want another copy, though? No.

So, it's Support ticket time.
Given that it wasn't really a gamble for me this purchase, I think that the five games I don't own have probably been exhausted from the Pinata pool.
Or GOG's algorithms don't work as advertised, and I have really bad luck! :D

[Edit: Support just got back to me. All five games I didn't own have been exhausted. So, unless GOG refreshes the pool, those games won't be appearing and it's no more Pinatas for me.
On another note, perhaps Groot or the OP should edit the list to reflect this?]

TL:DR
Serious Sam's Bogus Detour
The Sexy Brutale
Superhot
Tempest
Tyranny

are no longer available in the Pinata pool. Those games have all been exhausted.

Well, I'm too lazy to get through the original list, but judging from my last try, most of the games were depleted at that time, and the ones mentioned in recent ~10 post are the only ones left. (meanwhile I already got refund for the duplicates... I wonder whether I should have pushed for refund even for those I really didn't want at all, as there was no chance to get those I was interested in, but then again, $3 is not that big deal for me, and I'm sort of collecting the GOG catalogue anyway (although I do more of selection when I buy for regular prices).

Honstely... that is just bad practice... so at this point it's only junk left rendering the whole point of having piniatas obsolete...
Today I got:

Darksiders II deathinitive edition
Seven Kingdoms 2 HD

Pinatas from the first day:

Her Story
Bombshell
Saints Row Gat out of Hell
Warlords Battlecry 3

Gambling for money doesn't appeal to me at all, but buying something out of curiosity what kind of item is inside is addictive. I should take care I don't end up buying 10+ pinatas, like I've seen some do in this thread.

Curiosity killed the cash.

This should be the motto of this sale! :D

This seems to be a big problem. I had the luck to start buying at once, so I could get most of the "rare" ones. But opting to buy some more in the night I found out "Nex Machina" and "Everspace" were "sold out" already in Pinatas.

But most problematic is getting duplicates without the shop warning me before paying for them. Okay, I got all duplicates refunded already, but this is a major problem, which must be solved at once.

I would like to invest more, even if the lineup changes again, but if I cannot find out if "new" titles are in the batch, that ist quite impossible. :(

Here is help for the addicts:
https://www.gog.com/forum/general/release_observer_9b2bb

The price of 6 pinatas, if you own Layers of Fear.
For a brand new AAA action/adventure/horror game.

As opposed to 6 duplicate copies of The Guild 2...

Choose wisely :)
I tentatively bought another pinata to find out if the pool has been replenished and got CivCity: Rome which I didn't own yet. So I bought a few others and got Mount & Blade: Warband, Full Throttle Remastered and Shadow Warrior 2, all of which I didn't own yet either (and I was getting duplicates yesterday evening and this morning). So it looks like they refilled the pool somewhat.
I spent around on the Pinata and i got the following games
Titan Quest Anniversary Edition
Guild 2 Renaissance
Scanner Sombre
Imperium Galactica
Anno 1602 AD
Kyn
The Sexy Brutale
Thimbleweed Park
Trine 2: Complete Story
Her Story
Tyranny
Heroes of Might and Magic 3 and 4: Complete Editions
Shadowrun Returns

I wonder if you can get Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky 3rd and Cold Steel from the Pinata.
I am supposed to get Wallet credit for the last four games I got (already had them).

GOG is also supposed to look into why there are duplicates being doled out, as there are 41 games in the Pool that I don't have - no way should I be getting duplicates.

I have seen people post since my last try getting these games that I don't have, so something odd is going on.

Here is the list of games I don't have, but apparently can't get at this time:

Anno 1602 A.D.
Back to the Future: The Game
Bastion
Batman - Telltale Series
Battlezone 98 Redux
CivCity: Rome
Darkest Dungeon
Day of the Tentacle
Diluvion
Enter the Gungeon
Everything
Expedition: Viking
Full Throttle Remastered
Game of Thrones Telltale
Guild of Dungeoneering
Imperium Galactica 2
Memoranda
Metro 2033 Redux
Metro: Last Light Redux
Nex Machina
Owlboy
Oxenfree
Pax
Pillars of Eternity Hero Edition
Pinstripe
RIME
Serious Sam's Bogus Detour
Shadowrun Hong Kong - Extended edition
Sid Meiers Civilization 3 complete
Strafe
Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People
Sunless Sea
SUPERHOT
Tales from the Borderlands
Technobabylon
Tempest
The Sexy Brutale
The Signal from Tolva
The Walking Dead: Michonne
Thimbleweed Park
Tyranny - Commander Edition
There's several games I would love to have, but many more I don't.
