Backed the game by purchasing it on Obsidian's site, and today I checked what options there were for actually getting it. Sadly only GOG and Steam, so I had to go with the lesser evil. When redeeming the generated code, I couldn't help but notice that the icons for platforms only showed the Windows icon. No Linux. No Mac.

Hopefully this is just a cock-up on GOG's part again, and we will actually get it for Linux. But I'd greatly appreciate if somebody could confirm.

The game card doesn't say much, and by sorting my library for Linux only games, Pillars of Eternity II is filtered out...
low rated
One day Linux users will stop whinging about incompatible games and realise their choice is never going to be practicall in terms of gaming.
Please don't engage the troll.

I'd prefer a confirmation that the game will be available on LInux here, as otherwise it would be a broken promise given I purchased a game that would be released on Windows, Linux and Mac.
Well, the page for the main game shows Linux as being compatible. I backed the first one and, if my memory isn't playin games, the game installer was the same, plus some installers for extras, so I can't see how things could be different this time. It must be a sorting bug, but if I were you, I would contact support just to be sure.

I pre-ordered the game (Deluxe Edition) 2 days ago, setting my library filter to show only Linux games also shows PoE 2. Most likely the Backer Edition is flagged as Windows-only by mistake.

Brace yourself, 3 days left :-)

That's what I am hoping for too. Would be a shitshow if this particular edition is only available for Windows.

Presumably GOG staff are back at work now so I'm bumping this and hoping they clear it up and/or fix the underlying issue.
Anyone? 3 hours left.

When I check the Downloader links, there are entries listed for Windows and Mac, but not Linux.

Thank you! Then I'll stop worrying about the Linux version missing. I see the game isn't filtered out any longer either when I choose only Linux games in the library. One hour to go....
