Well, Vendetta - Curse of Raven's Cry has treasure maps because "you are a pirate". You find the maps, you sail for the booty! (:

If you are not afraid of "eurojank", you can give this game a chance. It's a bit pricey on Steam ($30 or 3090 JPY if you are really from Japan), but it often goes on sale.

First one is great but second one... Oh gosh, I wish I had THAT still in my backlog. Expect a big spike in difficulty when compared to the first one though, especially with expansion installed.

Stardew Valley. Yep. There's a handful. Some are basic "x marks the spot" type but a couple have arrows, directions, clues. It's pretty cool part of an all around fantastic game. You can find basic treasure, a treasure chest, a rare collectible, and small town scandal which is pretty hilarious.

Depends on why you liked BG. If you love D&D mechanics and combat then you might love Kingmaker. The issues Kingmaker has is some annoying aspects outside of combat (quest timers and kingdom management) and it just being long and repetitive (which BG also was, let's be honest).

Might and Magic 1 had an interesting take on the treasure map.

It was an early grid based game, where the player was responsible for creating the map.

In one of the game regions, the walls were structured in such a way as to display a message.
