Can there be an option, so that GOG offers updates for more than one week?
About a week ago I paused playing Pathfinder Wrath of the Rigteous, but now I cannot update the game anymore. I played with version 1.0.4d, however patches are available only for 1.0.5g and newer. I had to uninstall, download 20 GB of data an reinstall the game. This isn't the first time this happened; I had this issue with other games too.

Is there a way GOG could extend the patch availability? A month maybe?
The Galaxy client is _not_ an option.

- Yes, GOG should keep all offline patches available.
- No, I don't think that'll happen.
- You don't usually need to uninstall a game before installing a complete newer version.

Me, I don't play games before they're in their 'final' state. If I would, I'd find Galaxy a good system to keep my installed game up-to-date. And the offline installer would still be available for archiving purposes.

More and more games on GOG don't even get incremental patch files. So if your internet connection (slow/capped) can't handle huge downloads - you'll have to adapt in some way (only buying older games, or upgrading your cyberweb ;-) ).

You have to use the “optional” client, it is the sole purpose of this store now to get galaxy installed on as many machines as possible.
