Both of these hints are basically translations for the password "maize" being another word for corn and "centeotl" being a god of corn, which would technically be allowed if not for the fact that part of his name literally translates to "corn"), so I think I'll just call this particular round a tie and move on to the next password. I'll see if I can insert a 6th password to make up for it.
Hmmm... I thought English synonyms were fair game, and in fact legit methods to arrive at the password. Like "pretty" - "beautiful". In fact rule 3 states "No using a
foreign word which translates directly into the password" (emphasis mine). In fact it works in English because if one puts a foreign translation, his partner will immediately arrive at the answer, but if one puts "beautiful", there is no telling if it was meant as a synonym, or something else.
Either way, if you want to disallow English synonyms, modify rule three so there is no ambiguity next time.
