Flower, water, butter, batter... Baker?

It sounded like we were baking a cake until the batter; now we're just baking in general.

Hmmmm....it suddenly occurs to me how bad of a clue this password may be for the super password.
I think "dough" would be a better one.
I'll replace "batter" with "dough" and give a4plz a second shot at guessing.
