As some of you may know, I have a soft-spot for the Creeper World games. VirgilW have been working on his fourth game. This time it is not a direct sequel to Creeper World, but it could possibly be set in the same universe. It plays very differently, but many of the same game-play sensibilities have carried over.

There have been several updates on the development of this game, but now it have an official name, and it is becoming more clear how it plays.

and if you don't have it yet Creeper World 3 here:

End of public service broadcast.

Edit - It is released!!!!

Demo here: http://knucklecracker.com/common/demo.php
Buy it here: http://knucklecracker.com/common/buy.php

Buying it directly gives a steam key as well, no reason to not give VirgilW as much % as possible....

Not completely enthousiasmed. I'm a huge fan of the Creeper World series, which are absolutely magnificent classics and absent from gog to the latter's huge shame, BUT, dunno. Looks like Creeper World without the Creep, so, a lot of what makes it special (the liquid opponent) seems missing. The particles thing feels more ordinary.

Knuckle Cracker deserves faith and attention, though. We'll see how it goes...

Yeah... dunno what happened with that... apparently VirgilW submitted it to gOg, but nothing have happened since.
Ooh, I loved the Creeper World games so I'll definitely keep an eye on this.

The wishlist votes are shamefully low, too. Thirty, sixty...

So I guess it's partially the gogers' fault. A couple of days ago, I had hesitated to start a thread about the best games that too few people have played (having Creeper World in mind, as well as another game I forgot), and, as often, gave up on the idea. But yeah, first thing first : Creeper World requires much more awareness.

I loved the full Creeper World trilogy. And I'm following this upcoming game with a lot of interest :D
That's a shame that at least CW 3 isn't here : it's really good, and I think a lot of people would enjoy it a lot here.
It looks like Creeper World in space.
Thanks for the post, I'm another Creeper fan and this new game looks very cool, I had no idea it was coming.
Also, about awareness.

For those who stumble upon this thread and are unfamiliar with the game's concept, there are free playable levels on armor games, kongregate, etc :
