I have un-installed then re-installed Galaxy and am connected to GoG with my account, but it's no longer able to show my owned (over 200) or installed games. I just bought Baldur's Game II Enhanced Edition but as it doesn't show up in Owned Games I can't install it.
I've been using GoG and Galaxy for years without any issue, but recently it reported an inability to update some games. After the re-installation it did manage to update one or two games, the rest it's still unable to. How do I re-integrate owned and installed games. Like I said, I am connected to GOG.com under Official Integrations with my account name. Please help.

Are your games present when you login Ito the website?
Me I would recommend downloading offline installers and backing them up, even if you have to use the pointless client, as then you are not reliant on the internet.

Typically uninstalling a program won't remove private files it has used, so if you re-install it you'll get all your stuff attached again.

It sounds like it isn't connecting to your account correctly. That and the DB of what games were installed is gone too.

If i were to work on Galaxy I'd have a scan feature for a directory (default c:\GoG Games) and check exe's, if it is in say a MD5 checksum list for games it would add them as a link in galaxy as known games. Duplicates of certain files (dosbox or other) it would have special rules for just going for the bat file instead.

But what do i know?

They're are present when I log onto GOG's website, yeah. I'll try tinkering with those offline installers, thanks.

Right, tried logging off and on again, and that did restore all the games in my Owned and Installed lists, and I got to update one of the nine games waiting in the Downloads list, but it still won't update the rest, and I tried to install the newly bought Baldur's Gate II Enhanced Edition with no luck.

So now my problem just seems to back where they way before I un- and re-installed Galaxy. It manged to update 2 games waiting for it in my Dowloads, but it seemingly won't install games. I'm sad.

-------UPDATE----------

Alright, so looked up the error number (E7), and found the solution seems to be running Galaxy as administrator, so I am now and it seems to be working (downloading stuff now).
Hoping that did it, and thanks for the responses.

Hmmm logically it shouldn't matter if you're admin or not just to download. Unless it's trying to also update system files at the same time. Which is rather silly to do. Sounds like the process of what it should be doing/updating is probably needs tweaked.
