Themken: All liquid coolers should come with flow meters.
I know, right? If the system is enclosed and not serviceable it should have a gauge to measure flow, or the pump casing should have a clear inspection port to check if the impeller is turning as expected.
paladin181: Cooler came in early, and I installed it with a little headache because power adapters aren't the same... But I managed to figure it out. Cooler was definitely my problem. I now have idle temps in the 20-30 degree C range, which is MUUUUUUCH betterer and makes me feel comfortable using the thing again.
Glad to hear it's solved. I don't know much about anything really, but it seemed logical that the pump was playing up.
