It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

So, I've been trying Galaxy as a service for gaming, and it seems great, but there is one irritation.
When I browse the catalog, I set how to sort, and genre, etc, and this part preforms as desired, so I see a game I want the details on, and click it. I decide it's not for me and I click the back button at top... and I'm back to the main store page. To continue browsing, I need to go back to browse, tell it how to sort and whatever else all over again.

I guess you can see where this is going.

Maybe some nice person responsible for updating galaxy could make it to where when I/we do the above, we're sent back to the browse screen, with our sorting/filtering still in place?

Still, galaxy seems a nice program for getting software. Not as big a library as Steam, but I'm sure that'll change.
Yes, same here for me both in my PC and my phone. Sometimes is really annoying. Hope for a fix.
Yeah, Galaxy doesn't save sort preferences or any other state most of the time, and the times when it does do it, it seems to be on a timer and after an hour or so it no longer remembers certain things. For example, go to the library and type "witcher" into the search box and all the witcher games come up. Click on one of them to go to that game's specific page, then click on the "<" back arrow to go back to the library. It returns back to the library with your filters present showing the Witcher games as expected. Now click on the same witcher game again, then leave Galaxy sit there on that page for 3 hours without touching Galaxy at all, then come back and click on the "<" back arrow and instead of it taking you to the filtered list of witcher games it takes you to the main library page and reloads the entire library like you just started Galaxy up for the first time.

It only "remembers" the previous browsing history for an ultra-short time which is pretty annoying. Not as annoying as not having any standard browser accelerator keys to refresh, go back/forward, and other functions that are mainstays in browsers and gaming clients for eons.

Presumably they have their hands full.

For Galaxy specifically, that would be here.
For requesting specific features (and voting for those requested by others), there's also the Galaxy section of the Community Wishlist.
