Okay guys, my game may be seriously broken, and I really hope there is a way to fix it. I am doing the final quest to get all three artifacts from Red Mountain. I already got the Sunder, but the Keening has disappeared. I don't know what exactly happened, but I had it in my inventory, but I Equipped it and it killed me due to my mortality and all so I reloaded, but it is not there any more. It's not sitting on the altar thing. So, basically I can't win since it's neccessary to kill Dagoth Ur? Do you know what could've happened?

Nope, but you could use the console command as a last resort.

Console commands? Will it break the game? Anyway, I don't know how to use them.

Break it nah, i use the no clip or FixMe command when stuck on background crap.

Keep in mind that darkelfguy will have bought ten more Steam gifts in every individual Steam sale by then.
Now that physical copies of Morrowind are getting rare he should at least sell some of his ten physical copies imo. :D

I imagine the difference is that in Oblivion, dialogue is spoken and doesn't require reading. Sometimes it is nice to have the material more conveniently delivered, so I can understand that perspective.

Indeed. I never realized this is likely why they downsized the dialogues in Oblivion.

It would probably be better to spawn Keening on the ground and pick it up. I forget how the quest is implemented, but there might be code of the form "when the player picks up Keening, advance the quest" which would then get bypassed if you spawned it into your inventory.

You will die without WraithGuard if you wield Sunder or Keening.
Still no idea why you lost it, but then i never tried to use sunder or keening without WraithGuard.
May do once i get to that point...long way off.
