At the moment he's pretty much at the epicenter of all my multi-ball theories. I asked you about the "RW openly wolfing" thing because late EOD1 Nacho wasn't just taking RW's side v. tammy, but seemed to be town-reading him.

So what I was trying to tease out is what did you observe in retrospect, and should Nacho have recognized those same things (a question for you & tammy, mostly), esp. with Tammy trying to engage him over RW, and explored it rather than shutting her down?

I also felt like he shut down my attempt to explore dess/lift/brasas and rw/x/y scenarios here in D3 on what seemed to be largely flavor grounds (the "letter" question), rather than engaging questions of actual play.

Very similar to what RW did in response to the discussion you/I had about vote count/lack of babs counter-wagons D1. RW blew up at the specific scenario I'd suggested in response to the underlying data, and completely ignored/dodged the question of what the vote pattern said about babs' alignment.

That said, in his defense, tammy's energy/involvement seems to be waning as well, so...wtf knows.

But yeah, I suspect that even as the pool narrows and play should be tightening, energy/attention are waning so much we're liable to limp to the finish line. :(

Yeah, that's kinda my thinking, but I prefer Nacho or trent slightly over cristi b/c of the likelihood they're paired. Go back and look at Nacho/Trent interactions.

Trent's over-explainy story of "why town!trent should have seen Nacho's entry as scummy but there's this guy named dedo who did something similar and lessons were learned so now something town!trent might normally flip out on he's just going to be cool with." That's not the only thing, but it's bugging me.

And for someone who went poking around at most players, Nacho's hardest poke at trent was to ask him to name 3 scummiest players moderately early D1. Trent responds that Ix is wolfy for not reading the thread, Nacho clarifies it's just "annoying" and drops it - doesn't press trent for further clarification to try and discern trent's alignment/motive.

Comes off, at least potentially, as a teammate coaching another to drop a dangerous line of pursuit.

Admittedly, I'm occasionally guilty of explaining when I should be pushing deeper (TWSS), but I'm not nacho.

Considering the fast push on cristi, slightly harder to see her being anything but a singlet. Stan/cristi...maaaaaybe? Others could argue it's cristi/me for the hard defense, I suppose.

a) We lynch nacho and cristi & trent presumably each get a kill. D4 N=4. That's a mexican standoff and we rely on them to kill each other.

Though perhaps Stan really does have a trick up her sleeve, or both worry she does and double on her, and N>4. Winnable straight up.

b) We lynch cristi, and nacho/trent are still up but presumably get just 1 kill, which stan may or may not be able to influence. D4 N=5, we lynch nacho, trent kills, D5=3.

So b might be the safer course after all. Even if cristi is what she says, it's at least theoretically possible that the teams were as simple as dess/lift/brasas and rw/nacho/trent. Both seem to fit, imo, whether or not that game is "balanced."

so yeah, nacho needs to claim ASAP or I think we agree now he's 100% the lynch tomorrow no matter what he later claims. Right now Stan's claim holdout is the one thing seemingly holding his feet to the fire in terms of the range of what he can claim.

Like the 4 N1 NKs? Sure cristi claimed 1 but if she's wolf that's null. The kills are only covered if its 2x and she's really neutral whatever.

FWIW, if you're mafia I think you're the person at the table I'd probably least mind losing to, despite flipping out on you the other night. Appreciate that you've been active/engaged all along. cristi too, but it looks like her part in this is nearly done.

Perhaps she'd be willing to full-claim and divulge setup details like her own team comp, night actions N1/N2, etc. in exchange for living another day just to have a sporting chance? Eh, probably not. But worth asking? I certainly would do it in her shoes.
