And no doubt there is a bit of opportunity knocks going on, and some personal GOG staff bias, all of which would impact priorities. They certainly have a huge list of games to select from, which cannot be processed overnight or even in days, and would be years in some cases. I suspect GOG have a working list, much like my reading list, where I slot something new in sometimes and often unexpected. In theory at least, I imagine games slowly creep up the list.
In general though, I believe that community wishlist votes are still a factor and can play an important part, but you cannot count on just them, as other factors would be at play too.
