It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I bought a couple games worth at least 5K XP, but I'm still at 1100, 100 checkin and 1K as a starting sum (I guess).
I have to add, that I bought the games with the money from my wallet which consist solely of the small amounts of money that you get for purchasing stuff.

What browser are you using? I know the page doesn't work well for older versions of browsers, I'm forced to check using PaleMoon which then sees the page correctly and with updates to status.
same here, but i'm sure gog is going to work it out

UPDATE: logout, close windows, visit gog again, login .. helped in my case

I assume that was money in your wallet from off setting regional pricing, this is described as not being reimbursable so I safely assume not being taken into account for purchases as well. (like the XP). The EULA said something similar about it.

I spent real money from my PayPal account and still didn't receive experience. I don't get regional offset moneys. :D SO this is an issue with GOG as I'm using Firefox 49.0.2.
EDIT: Nevermind. At least in my case they were just slow about it.

Based on the bolded part, that's the money GOG reimbursed you to offset regional pricing for some games you bought and kept in your wallet to use for future purchases, as others mentioned. The reason it didn't count for the XP you get for purchases is that that's money you already spent.

I checked the site on Galaxy and my points were there, so yeah, it hasn't updated in my browser.
Thanks for your answer, it didn't come to my mind to check it elsewhere (silly me).
Same for me at first, then the XP arrived after some minutes.

It is a special feature for Swedish customers, so that they don't get drunk so quickly ;)
But interesting that Galaxy did have it, so really something with a certain browser setup....

To stave off drinking a few minutes? Or keep from going cross-eyed?

Although to be honest, I've been totally smashed and unable to see straight or walk, and wrote totally normal writing and Roleplaying. Apparently I'm quite articulate when drunk :)

So you would fit in right good with all us drunken ones: Irish, Scottish, Dutch, Swedish, Danish....
But in the US it IS really hard to get pissed on beer....
This stuff:

Now that is some other story ;) (sorry only available in drinker languages ;) (although the German author must have had a few too many of them)

I don't drink beer. Tastes too thin and like crap. I prefer wiskey, Brandy, and other alcohol that's generally 20-50%, although I'll drink a lower alcohol level if it tastes good (wine coolers).

hm....as I mentioned Starköl, real Guinness (which you can't get in the US) would be alternatives. Both have a quite rich strong taste.
And are you talking about
1. whisky
2. whiskey or
3. whiskey? ;)
