No, the whole city building/menagement genre is really not my thing. Why?

Kind of, i have 21€ on my Steam Wallet and i barely purchase games with it but in my case it's more of a case of not wanting to spend too much money (and it's weird becauses it's the cash earned from selling cards and game items, so, "free money") because i'll probably get the game on some bundle or i won't play it due to huge backlog.

In your case, dunno, if you really want to purchase something then give a new game/genre a try, especially one of those "pixel graphics" games, my group of gaming friends laughed at the terraria visuals asking why was the game remotely interesting, funny that when i purchased it for them (to play coop) they were like drug addicts, i'm talking about playing for +/- 6 hours straight.

I have 4 items in my wishlist and none of them are in the current sale.
2 are EA games (crysis and mirror's edge), 1 is Aladdin and 1 is Anima gate of memories.
for Anima gate of memories I'm waiting the mac version (that is on steam right now but that should arrive here soon enough).
for Aladdin I wait any sale +20%.
for both EA games I'm waiting a sale +40%.

If there will be not sale I just wait and continue my backlog.

Thought about getting Balrum, though. It has crafting, which I like and base building, which I like. But according to some of the reviews, the game's apparently poop. Shame.

You can end up like the rest of us and compulsively buy gifts for people every time there's a sale.

I've done my fair share of gifting in the past, it's gonna take a lot from this community for me to start again. No offense to anyone in particular, though.

Ended up buying a back-up copy of Vampire the Masquerade and Huniepop. And Balrum, hopefully that's a decent game. Also bought the pit gold, didn't realize I already owned the pit, dunno what that gold edition does. And Tharsis.

I guess I found something to buy after all!

Will the winter sale have more games on it?

I check my wishlist multiple times a day, and nothing important is discounted. When it is I will expand my backlog more than it already is.
