Before god galaxy came i just downloaded the files and put them in porting kit. a tool i use to make windows games, or at least older games work. now there is just 3 games out of 28 that is working after gog galaxy came, so it kinda sucks to be a mac user now. seems to be some bug in the coop between porting kit and got now. anyone experienced anything like/got any solutions?
Well, the Windows releases were never intended to run on OS X, so of course GOG are not going to put much effort into keeping them compatible with various solutions.

You could check if maybe GOG have made an OS X release of some of your games? That seems to happen every once in a rare while. Beyond that, I don't know, perhaps try PlayOnMac?
Why don't you just keep downloading the files and put them in porting kit? Nobody's forcing you to use Galaxy.

Just download them from the site. But it works inside galaxy as well, just make sure to disable the OS filter (top row over the game shelf) so incompatible titles get shown, click the game you want, click on more and go to the Backup and Goodies Tab, you should see the Win Installer files there.
Well, I suppose there's quite a few games that won't work thanks to those pesky arbitrary changes. Why not come settle into a new home with less pesky changes and a whole plethora of intercompatible file systems to choose from, rather than some bastardized & lobotomized closed version of BSD?

What I'm saying is that you might have more luck with Linux.
No, the games still work fine in macOS. The OP seems to think that the existence of Galaxy somehow stopped Wine from working, but that is incorrect. Also, fiddling with various incompatible dependencies is not most people's idea of fun.

I just came across this post. I'm trying to run Rayman Forever via CrossOver, but I can't even download the game because I'm using a Mac with Ventura. Where can I find the OS filter?

In your browser, on your collection page, click the game you want and after it expands check the backup offline installer options on the bottom. Download that installer and use it as you need.
