ChainsawGenie: Avast
Avast has a history of issues with upgrading. Also selling of data collection about its users.

Well the parent company does.

MadDemon64: Does anyone else have this problem? Norton thinks the executable for The Suffering: Ties That Bind is a Heur.AdvMLB.
Someone actually get the name of the virus. We usually have to pull that out of folks.... +1

If you want to double check, you can always up the *.exe to:

https://www.virustotal.com/#/home/upload

If it comes back negative, you can submit it to Norton for review here:

https://submit.symantec.com/false_positive/

Norton's instructions here: https://community.norton.com/en/forums/how-report-false-positives

Before you do all that, make sure you run a ====>>>>MANUAL<<<<==== update of Norton's virus sig files just to make sure the issue hasn't been corrected already and scan the file again.

Hope this helps

ChainsawGenie: Because of its own invasive nature, I would suggest uninstalling Norton (preferably with the company's uninstaller) and switching to a better one like Avast or Avira.
Both Avast and Avira also had major screw-ups in the past (like deleting important Windows files...).
Norton is trash. Get Avast or Aviara.

It only says Heur.AdvML.B. That's all it says under threat name.
Norton is anti pc.
Well, everyone is entitled to an opinion, even old nutjob Norton.

But seriously, as others have said, you should really consider using a different anti-virus.

I used to have that problem too. Now I do not. :)

Norton, on uninstall some time ago, disabled networking on that computer. Presumably, so i'd panic and reinstall.
Norton is useless bloatware and also a waste of money.
