TheTruth: GG, do some of you people have no shame in continually asking for games?
And the same people show up constantly on the ninja post. And again on just about any giveaway post which has no requirements other than to to say you're "in". And the gog gifting thread and most likely on steamgifts too. And probably on other gaming forums too. Sure, they may give away games once in a while but those are just other freebies or of the dota/facebook freebie variety.
When exactly do you have time to play the games you've won or ninja'd or gotten for free thru random acts of kindness from others? Honestly, a couple of you have been given 10+ games on this site alone in one manner or another over the past 1-2 months and you still want more more more. Its not about building a collection especially if you knew nothing about the game before you saw a free key for it. It shouldn't be about taking advantage of peoples generosity. It should be about giving others a chance, and not being greedy. There is no way you can like every game thats a freebie w/ no questions asked. Play the games you've already received. If you can't afford other games you want, just step back and enjoy what you have instead of wanting whatever is on sale and linking to the sales out there hoping some kind stranger will go to the link solely for the purpose of buying a game for you, repeat ad nauseum. The fact you keep doing it says that its worked before from a different random stranger. Good for you I guess.
There's more than one way to get scam or create scams and asking for freebies as often as some of you do, while that may not be an obvious scam, it still is in some ways. In fact, one of you needs to spend more time with a family member who was recently in a bad accident that was publicized for sympathy. But this person is still on this site very often, so soon after the accident, being a leecher (if thats how you spell it). Scammers take different forms and shapes and obviously use different tactics, including kindness of their own. But each one is a Wakalo in one form or another. Not everyone can see it at face value. They may even remind others often that they too have been scammed and how horrible it was.
Said more than I thought I would but once you get on a roll, hard to stop. But don't think this "kid" and others like him don't know what they're doing. They're much smarter than it seems.

Wonder if wishes come true.

Hey, is Civ3 or 4 any good?
Wishes DO come true.
Post history would be a good addition to this website if I may have a wish.
And as I type this another post requesting someone to purchase Ravaged and gift it. Wow!
Just saying but feel free to do as you please. No rule or law against freely giving away games. Don't mean to offend nor pick on one particular person but this has been a trend now (for multiple people) and no longer isolated incidents, especially with GOG getting bigger daily.
So, back to the original question - I just wish some people felt shame when they are always looking for games from every source possible in every thread possible. And even if my words may have came out wrong, the point remains the same. Don't take advantage of your fellow gamers as hard as that may be to do on the internet. All I know is, no more simple giveaways from this one.
This was an interesting and thought-provoking read. I'm quoting it so that others may notice and read it.
