gameon: Sounds like you could do with a good old Volvo Estate.

nmillar: Well, my Vauxhall (or Opel depending on what part of the world you're from) Astra lasted me 12 years, so it hasn't done badly at all. Unfortunately a gasket blew, so it isn't worth the price of fixing it. So going to sell it for scrap (which will only get me about £120) and try and scrape some money together to buy a used car.
I like Astra's (and Vectra's too) they are comfortable. The cost of repair is ridiculous in garages! There's always an obscure part that can "only be bought from the manufacturer, shipped in from abroad".

Still, there are plenty of nice second hand cars about. It's just finding the money for it, as you said. Let us know what you end up with!

It's not so bad here, since they're made in the UK, so parts are pretty easy to come by. Found someone selling a Vectra for £3,000, so researching that against other similar cars for sale in the area and working out if it's affordable.

Today sucked.

Depends what petrol type is the most efficient, and also the size of the engine.

Sorry to hear your day sucked.
If someone purchases Indie Gala X, and doesn't need Europa Universalis Rome or Elven Legacy , I would happily give them a good and caring home. :)

Anyone have a spare to the moon key? Thanks.
I'd love to have a copy of Jet Set Radio to play on Steam as a belated birthday present since I never owned a Dreamcast back in the day :).
