akhliber: Sorry if this is a stupid question (I'm feeling lazy and hoping someone may know already) but can the Steam version of Final Fantasy VII be modded? I'd love to get my hands on a copy of the game, but only if I can use texture / high res mods and such.
tl;dr : you can :-)

The Steam version is already in "HD" (textures were upscaled for today's natives resolutions I believe). So I don't know if mods for the old version can be applied on the new one.
I'll make a little search for you.

ggf162: I don't think FF7 has had any keys generated yet, or ever will. If you're lucky though, somebody may gift it to you.
