Well, there's one particularly infamous case where Happ was cited to not release Axiom Verge on GOG due to a rather idiotic miscommunication between an enthusiastic fan.

I guess GoG in the past having rejected, sometimes even more than once, a game, because it did not meet GoG's curation system could count as ''pissing off'' a developer to the point they don't bother bringing a game here.

Not sure if that is what the OP meant, of course.

From what I seen from past releases, they rather milk steam dry first and or wait for a complete edition of some sorts or wait a year or 2 to release it here.

I think it's Arc Systems really. There used to be a couple of Guilty Gear games here, then they got pulled. I think BlazBlue is still here because there's a different publisher attached.

I doubt it. It's just happens that they're all over the place when it comes to releasing games here.

Cue the "coming to GOG" announcement of the Mighty Switch Force collection, and then it took them forever and a day before they decided to come around to it.

I suspect they did mean that, but I like to fact check, as some just like to blame GOG all the time, for things that are often beyond their control or just unreasonable demands by providers, some of whom then cry foul to create pressure on GOG or who like to pretend they wanted to release on GOG, when they never really intended to, but don't want to cop flack for that stance.

Without unbiased facts it is all hearsay and guesswork, and with some, maliciously so and failing logic tests.

Dawn of the Monsters arrived here eventually, so I would assume RCG2 will too.
