PookaMustard: So what happened to those who bought the non-Steam version of the game?
They either remained with the dated version of the game, or decided to switch to Steam (via the key that Paradox provided to each of those people) if they wanted to have future patches/DLC packs.

Good. I don't like the prospect of buying a specific version then be told to switch to another version of any media or remain outdated, but basically at least they were given the option to switch for free.

But either way, my only interaction with Paradox is with Knights of Pen and Paper on Android, so I'm losing nothing. Just wanted to ask to see what the company does in such a situation.
We just have to wait until the DLC thing ends. Maybe then they' ll consider releasing it DRM-Free again. For now they want their engine to work 100% to produce DLCs that generate money that in turn generate more DLC to keep the money stuff going on until who knows when!

So keep calm and play CK! :)
This reminds me of Train Simulator, that's probably one game we'll never get on GOG considering the amount of DLC it has.
I would REALLY like to see one of their ship simulators here. Cities: Skylines will be much delayed, I assume, like CK2 or EU4 if they show. But Steam is not an option for me, so I'll play them if Paradox deems we're worthy. If not, oh well.

Grargar: No, of course it's not. We just got two Paradox games the previous week.
Thank you very much, shapeshifting feline! You just saved my evening.

This guys saying we can never see EU IV , CKII or and other games :S Is that true ?
This just seems like people who are quoting stuff Paradox has said in the past before GOG. The only people that can tell you this is GOG and Paradox everyone else is talking out of their ass.

Likely as Grargar said, they will release here when the DLC and patches are done. But I expect dev's will be more keen to release games on GOG at the same time as Steam and on Galaxy when its a little more complete. Meaning when they have access to the backend to push out patches and stuff which will make it a lot more easier to support a game here as well as one Steam at the same time. Paradox right now seems really keen on bringing there games here. I don't expect that to change.
