If I'm forced to go through Amazon again I'm screwed. They didn't take pre-orders last time and I doubt that's going to change.

I doubt anybody will take preorders, but if Nintendo can produce enough stock (they should this time) you should be able to get it off the shelf. You can get the SNES Classic on the store shelf at Best Buy right now in a lot of locations (but no ordering online).

Considering how many have already been sold and the page letting everybody know again that they come out this summer, you will most likely be able to get it. Especially if you live near a city (I don't) so I am most likely going to have to drive or hope my brother comes across one when he is out in the city he lives in.

Yeah, there is no one within 200 miles of me that will have it.
No kidding - good for them.

I honestly thought the Switch was going to be the end of them (thought it fell into a weird niche - not quite a console, not really a reason to own one because everyone AND their kid already has a tablet or a smartphone) but I guess it ended up working out well for them.

And wait, let me get this straight... Nintendo figured out if they release games in their core franchises (Mario, Zelda, Smash Brothers) they make money? Who'd have thought??? ;)
