1. What is Ubi 30? Apparently nothing related to GOG? Just asking as this thread doesn't even explain it even with a link, so apparently everyone is supposed to be familiar with it already. I am not.

2. When they give newer games as freebies, are they generally complete versions including all the released DLCs, or merely the base version, on top of which you are supposed to buy any missing DLCs for a premium price?

That's how Humble Bundle quite often works, you can get base versions of games for dirt cheap, but buying DLCs on top of them will cost you an arm and a leg. Similar idea as with free-to-play games: free (or cheap) now, pay more later as you go.

Both are the same. By making the calendar present of december 7 the same giveaway as the game that gets released as part of the Ubi 30 Club giveaway, they give 1 present as part of 2 separate deals, so it won't cost them anything extra.

Same with day 7 of the calender: the 30% discount on Ubi games pointed to the Black Friday sale that was going on anyway, whether you visited the calendar or not.

All real gifts (the ones that aren't just pretty pictures like wallpapers or gifs) are games that were already part of the Ubi 30 Club giveaways going on since June. The days to be watchful are 15, 16, 17 and 18 december:

Anyone else having trouble logging in to Ubisoft? Nor with the calendar page, nor with the Ubi 30 club page, nor with UPllay can I manage to login and claim Assassins Creed 3.

Server overload at Ubisoft?

Same experience for both. Guess will ride it out.

I'm having problems too. funny thing is I actually managed to login as clear by my avatar and user-name showing, but It still doesn't show my collection and whenever I try to get the game asks to login again, that keeps failing.
It's clearly a server error, as it gives a different error when I write the password wrong.

It's not me, it's them, as they are full of shit (StarForce, Uplay etc.).

Thank you both, so it's not just me. I get the same: avatar and user-name do show, but I can't get further than that.

Had the same problem for half of the day - but a few minutes ago, I could proper log in and claim the free game.

Yup I have been unable to log in for real as well. I am in but when I try to get the game, it wants me to log in again and does not like the password that time. Uplay and their website are garbage :)
