Finally, another shiny new year is upon us! Time to get all dressed-up and edit our wishlists to adjust for Santa's recent coming. It's as good a time as any to trim it down juuuust a little bit more by crossing out any of the 35+ Interplay titles going for 60% off inside our Happy New Year with Interplay!

If you want to make room for some new games in there, start by performing a painless Sacrifice and try this RTS/action hybrid that took gamers by surprise with its addictive mechanics and jaw-dropping visuals which put it way ahead of the curve.

Your first good deed of the year could also be cleaning up the troubled nation of Apulco and delivering some old-school turn-based justice with your Jagged Alliance. If fighting ruthless dictators isn't your thing, beam yourself up to the stars for some point'n'click adventuring with Star Trek™: Judgement Rites and Star Trek™: 25th Anniversary or for some intense space combat with Freespace 2 and Descent: Freespace. Alternatively, you might enjoy a slice of alternate history in the fantasy RPG Lionheart, some over-the-top action-platforming featuring a multi-limbed dog in MDK 2 or some old-school "face, meet shotgun" action as Kingpin.

This extensive and wonderfully diverse collection of 35+ Interplay gems going for 60% off in our Happy New Year with Interplay is the perfect way to kick off the new year with a bang! The promo will last until Sunday, January 3rd 10:59 PM GMT.
Hmm. I was expecting something a bit more than this for the New Year Promo. I just filled out my entire Interplay catalog on 11-13-15 with the Ultimate Interplay Collection bundle - Autumn 2015 Promo. And that was 90% off. Now we have the four Star Trek titles added but with a drop down to 60% off.

This is not the way to start off a New Year.
If only there were more "new" Interplay releases here. I'll patiently wait. :)

What games are you waiting for?
With Fallout and Descent gone from Interplay's catalog, and already owning Sacrifice and Giants... Is there anything else worth owning besides maybe Shogo?

Grargar: I guess that's the secret promo.
Really ? :(
The only thing even remotely special about the promo...

This is the first time the Star Trek games are available individually for 60% off. (Thanksgiving you could buy all 4 together at 60% off)

All the other games were available 60% off in the Fall Sale or if one bought the entire Interplay catalog as a bundle, 90% off.

I'd love to see Blackthorne come, but I don't ever see Blizzard allowing that. Same with Atomic Bomberman. Or The Lost Viking games. :)

Blackthorne and The Lost Vikings (only the first one) are already DRM-free freeware over at Blizzard's own site.

MDK 1, Earthworm Jim 1+2, Star Trek 25th Anniversary/Judgment Rites and Toonstruck are all excellent games.
Battle Chess is a lot of fun and Die By The Sword is kind of hilarious.

Well, and Shogo is one of the most awesome shooters I've ever played, but it's certainly not a game for everyone.

Good call with their site. I had forgotten about that. I'd still love to get them into my GOG library. :)

arxon: well during winter sale, whole Interplay bundle minus the Star Trek games was 90% off.
That is correct, but if you did want only individual games from that bundle, the discount was the same: -60% standard per game.

Fully agree. Shogo: M.A.D. is a hell of a nice shooter. I did play trough three times, if I remember correctly. It has such a mood and solid gameplay ... not to speak of sound and music, simply fantastic.
Sacrifice on sale maybe i will get it soon.

I think that Blizzard might be the most difficult company to be convinced to come here. They don't even sell their games on Steam.
Aaaaaaaa, why would you use an image that is basically identical to the Starfleet Command: Orion Pirates cover art for this promotion?

Got my hopes up!
Has anyone been able to get Starfleet Command to run? Every time I try to run the game, it returns an error message that the exe program needs to close. Using compatibility mode doesn't work either.
It hasn't been too long ago that we had nearly the same promo. But at least that's a game catalog as I like it, one version per game, no extended, collector or whatever editions mess, and simple, uniform price tags.
