Will the GoG linux packages be updated to run on 16.04 LTS?
I've been testing 16.04 since early March. I'm sure GOG will update their packages eventually. My experience is that most packages still work fine.

And for the ones that do not, just don't use GOG's shell script to start the game. Run the game's executable directly and install any missing libraries from the repo. I have yet to come across a game that simply doesn't work.
Looking forward to updating my LTS.

Guess I'll need to brush up on my systemd.
Will this drop support for 32bit processors?

Themken: Will this drop support for 32bit processors?
You can download an x32 ISO for the beta, so I would say this version will still support it. It will probably be the last though
i tried it for 1 week or so last month.
finally it's easy to move the launcher on the bottom, it looks like a dock and i way prefer this solution.

i'm in love with mate DE so i'm more into Ubuntu Mate (witch i also tried)

anyway the most interesting version for me will be ubuntu server as i'm going to build a small home server someday!
