I want to ask a question, who had the idea to block players from ending the turn if some lonely scout somewhere on the map has no command yet or I forgot to set the next building to build on some remote planet?
In some famous titles, you set the science tab and then let it go. Happily you accept every new discovery. Now you are supposed(forced with the blocked next turn button) to go into this tab EVERY time something is discovered to make adjustments. You can also not discover in several branches at once, no! ALL your scientists of your civilisation will concentrate on beam lasers for the next couple of weeks!
Why can you not plan your ships' next steps and then change your mind. In recent games, as soon as you give a command to a ship it executes it within your turn, with no chance to adjust the course or change your mind.
