omega64: I liked Super Paper Mario.

tammerwhisk: Two words.

Sticker
Star
Haven't played it as I don't own a 3ds. :P

tammerwhisk: ...Yep.

Funny thing is a lot of die-hard fans of their stuff that I know are getting extremely disillusioned with them to the point of apathy.
i have been apathetic towards nintendo for years now
and i grew up with a nes and n64 ( and a megadrive II)

im wishy washy interested in the wii U for the virtual console
and maybe pick up some decent titles the extreme slim pickings in the wii U's library when it finally drops dead

Okay, imagine that the story is about as complex as the plot of New Super Mario Bros. Yes, the first one on the DS.

Now, remember all the colorful characters of the first three games? With all the wide visual variety and careful attention to detail?

I'll give you a hint as to the NPC variety in Sticker Star: Red spots and a photocopier.

And you know how there were actual platforming and still something resembling an RPG in Super Paper Mario? That's gone too, hope you enjoy throwing stickers at things and puzzles so obvious that you can see them from a mile away.

Oh, and you know how Princess Peach isn't her typical, useless, empty headed clod self in the Paper Mario series?

She's now back in her comfortable, conservative, damsel in a closet role. She's not even important to the plot like the last three games.

I don't remember any of the other games aside from Super Paper Mario as I haven't played them.
Even the platforming and leveling is gone?

Oh good, Peach clearly suffered by having a personality. :P

did she ever had one ?

DaCostaBR: A lot of people hated it. Then again, a lot of people hated Twilight Princess, and look at Elmofongo. It's still Zelda at the end of the day, and if you're into that, you will always get some enjoyment out of it.

haydenaurion: Well, in any case I really like this new one. Shame that I abandoned Nintendo and stick mostly to PC these days, I just couldn't stick with Nintendo after the direction they took with the Wii and onward.
I never found Skyward Sword that bad of a game but it does have its grips.

Like how empty and pointless the sky itself was.

Ummm, she made cake once maybe.
That's how personalities work right?

As someone who only played 3 Zelda games (A Link to the past, Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask)
I'm drolling right now

Sigh, no money to buy a console just for this game, so not gonna play this one in foreseeable future
