mobutu: Well, SW7 was so bad that it is really hard to go lower than that, so this one seems clearly better and hopefully will wash away that very bad taste left after sw7.
The cast is way better than the joke the sw7 cast was (except h.ford).
Another director so there's "a new hope" we'll finally have a decent star wars movie.
Yeah, fingers crossed for this one.
The trailer is cool, but the damn SW7 killed my hype (and ruined the awe of seeing a "remastered" Death Star).

There was that one Y-Wing pilot in VI... who died with less than a minute of screen time.

Could be good. There's a real chance here for them to do something different with a Star Wars movie here. Even if we already know the basics of the story. But unfortunately I think that there's every chance that they're going to adhere to the formula. We'll see.

I didn't follow anything about the sequel.. err.. prequel.
I rewatched it again and this time with my brother and the problems of this movie just became more apperent.

I preferred 52 - the attack of the remake clones. Amazing film. That windmill lightsaber fight between the diabetic lesbian surfer chick and the jewish space wizard was great. Plus all those subtle hints about the gender pay gap on the Death Star 9.0? Brilliant.
