The hell am I supposed to do with that?

There is no release post, I have no idea what that game is. Nothing. Am I supposed to start googling now, in the hope that I'll find, read the reviews and make up my mind faster than other goggers? The same goes for Jotun by the way, it just didn't struck me then, because I actually knew that game.

Who thought this is a good idea? Don't you think it would have been nice to give people some heads up about those games being available now, so that they could look them up before seeing them appear for a brief moment in the sale?

Yes. The amount of information provided is overwhelming. Especially the helpful reviews. Well, I guess it's a good thing that there is so little there given how much time I have for research.

The page for Subterrain is up, and there's the usual description + screenshots. From those, I surmise it's basically a nicer looking Teleglitch.

Yes. The page is up. How was I supposed to know that? By seeing it appear in the sale, and then searching for it. Before that, I had no idea it exists. Would not be a problem in any other sale, but in this one?

Oh, I'm not saying it's not a problem - I was wondering WTF it is myself, until I started writing a script to turn the banner into a link to the page store, which lead me to said page.

Well... but isn't that part of the concept of the "Insomnia Sale"? The one time you noticed (and missed) it (by choice of your arguments) would have been enough to bait you to search for it... ask for it.. and maybe the next time it shows up you will buy it (or reject it for good from your PoV).... sadly the pages hold no timestamp, but somehow I would bet that the "coming up soon" page is older that its inclusion in the "Insomnia Sale".... Don't be frustrated, after all - it is just a concept and game to tease our "hunter & collector"-instincts and to get some cash from us... (well, and guess what, I love it %-> )

And overhelming information is overestimated if it comes down to sales or PR in general ;'|

Next time I will most likely not see it, because I refuse to spend my time watching the website like a hawk becasue of a marketing gimmick of the "insomnia sale".

But I'm not frustrated. It's no skin of my back. As it turns out the game holds no interest for me, and I wouldn't buy it anyway, because, well, no tengo dinero. I just think this was poorly planned on GOG's part. Together with the "image not loading" bug at the start I'm just thinking this sale was perhaps not very well prepared.
