Seems like this "incorrect" version has been in use for a while:

I just put down a deposit on a 1070. No need for these over priced bricks just yet. Give it four years or so.

Speaking of, have you consider a 1070 Ti? Performance wise, it's like 5% less than a 1080, but sometimes you can catch a better deal on them, than you would a 1080.

The 1070 Ti is a slightly weaker 1080, than a faster 1070, but marketing had to follow the naming conventions.

The extra money wasn't there for that haha. I did acquire a EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 SC however which should be a significant boost from my GTX 760 haha. Roll on two days and we'll see.

For me I think 1070 is enough and I do not think I need to bet on a new expensive nvidea to be the best option these days.

Tistonic: i dont follow any rubbish group out there, so u fail judge, their all bunch of sheeps, im not a softshell person like most of the world has been turned into as they cant take in any harassment's/etc that goes on moaning about
I've been seeing many people failing to use proper spelling in many sentence, i'm thinking it's mostly US people that fail to do grammar right(i'm ignore the shorthand stuff the internet been using for awhile, those don't count as it's understandable)
Since this turned into grammar debate, I love how he proceeds with this butchered English after correcting me for one single letter typo. :-) But I am not upset about it. :-)

I'm definitely getting the RTX 2080 Ti. I'm also definitely getting PG35VQ when it comes out. They will work together beautifully!

For the older titles, you'll definitely be around "no fucks given" on high for everything you through at it. For newer and future ones, I'd say the card will serve you just as well as your previous GTX 760.

I do hope so. This card is hitting five years, still going strong. Easily my most reliable I've had since my good old 8800 (may it R.I.P.). Funny thing is, I just bought a £450 card and what am I playing? C&C Tiberian Dawn from 1995 lol. Get those frame rates.
